Rock, Ryker and Carrie

Here are the things that I loved most about the concert/weekend. If you want to read exactly what we did, check out my mom's blog here.

First off, it was awesome to see Rock and Ryker and get to spend more time with them.

This concert was by far my most favorite concert.
I saw Craig Morgan in Waterville one year with Katie Barnes. I LOVE his music so it was fun to see him in concert one more time.

This was my favorite thing about the whole concert.

I also loved her mics. They matched her outfit every time. And, she had glitter on everything!!
Thanks, mom. I LOVED it.

On Sunday, we went to Aaron and DeA's ward for sacrament. Another part of the trip I loved was having their family decide that they would come back for the rest of the weekend.

When we got back, Marissa and I went to Graham's farewell open house.
Have fun in New Mexico!!!

Then we had an ice cream party with really good homemade ice cream. Vanilla and strawberry.

I am going to head to Slide Waters in about an hour to train. Finally!! :)
I will be working as a fill-in these next two weeks helping out with all the school groups.
We will see how that goes!

T-3 & a Helicopter

Yesterday I was sitting at our computer and I heard a loud, I thought, tractor. When I looked out the window I saw a helicopter. Dad had finally gotten his helicopter. He called and told us to go up and meet him so we could fly in it. It was sweet. Congrats dad! :)

Four....

I work  at a winery BBQ.
We play this song a lot.
Does that strike anyone else as a little ironic?

6 days

My dad got upset because I haven't posted a blog in like....five days. So, I will update you on my suuuper exciting life back at home.
Since a lot of my friends are still in school, I have been able to be Marissa's slave as she gives birth to her little Stoner.
On Friday, my parents and Nick went to Renton for Aaron's birthday, leaving Marissa and I home alone for the weekend. I had to work at four that Friday but got off suuuper early. I was still a bit loopy from the drugs and couldn't function or stop laughing at work so they thought it would be good for me to leave.
Marissa and I had planned a night of pedicures and checking out my cake decorating kit Bronte got me for Christmas. Rock and Rissa made cupcakes so we tested it out on those.
It's sweet, THANKS BRONTE! :)
When I got home, Marissa made homemade mac and cheese and we played Rumikub. It reminded me of last summer when I would play it with my neighbor, Taylor.
After that, we sat down to watch the first season of Grey's Anatomy.
She fell asleep during the first episode.
Then was asleep as "we" watched Mean Girls.
For the entire movie.
Three hours later, she is wide awake and wants ME to give her a pedicure.
I was ready for bed.
But... we ended up decorating the cupcakes then watching another movie.
Which she didn't fall asleep during. Surprisingly.
We then started watching something else and I fell asleep.
Saturday wasn't anything special.
We were going to go to Wenatchee and get $1 flip flops at Old Navy.... but someone decided she wasn't well enough.
So I just ended up going to work, no longer drugged.

So that is the update on my interesting life.
I am trying to figure out how I can do a study abroad next Spring but not too optimistic it is going to work out.
If anyone knows anything, please let me know!

P.S.
We get to see her:

in 6 days. :)

The Wonderful Family With the Last Name Toolson

So... I went on my blog and saw that I had another comment from my last post. It was from Shannon Toolson. She said that it seems someone is in need of a Lakeview milkshake. Oh... was she right. I then went onto her blog and saw that for her son's birthday she took him Lakeview for lunch. Was she trying to make me crave it or what???
I was about to start "studying" for my American Heritage stuff when there was a knock on the door. I was scared for who it could be because I didn't put my contacts in, didn't do my makeup and threw my hair up in a bun. Oh, and don't forget my swollen cheeks that my dad and Nick keep reminding me about.
It was Bronte. Holding a Pepsi cup and a straw. Their family bought me a chocolate milkshake. :)
Oh, how I love them.
THANK YOU!!!!!!

This following picture is for Aaron and Sherry....

The Teeth

Yesterday was the day that I got my wisdom taken from me.
The cutest Irish man took my wisdom teeth out.
Mom thought it was funny how I couldn't close my right eye and
how the gauze in my mouth made me look like a chipmunk.
She couldn't understand a word I said.
All I wanted to do was sleep but wasn't exactly tired yesterday.
We were going to watch Chuck as a family,
but everyone took too long so by the time we started it, I was asleep.
Until Marissa woke me up at about two.
I was only taking the Ibuprofen that was prescribed to me,
but then I was hurting more so I asked her to get me my hydrocodone.
I forgot how well it works (when I had my ankle surgery and my knee surgery).
I woke up a few times and they didn't hurt too bad.
But, this morning, they kill.
I am going to eat something so I don't throw up after taking my meds.
Dad says I look good, but I am still going to put ice on it again.
The ice pack mom got me reminds me of Grandma and Grandpa England's.
The ones with the twist top.

Rainbow Falls and Apple Blossom

This last week has been... interesting. Last Sunday I started to feel sick and ended up throwing up. I was sick the next couple days and missed two days of work. By Wednesday I was feeling a lot better and had so much more energy. We went up to Stehekin on Thursday with Lindsea and Travis and were able to take a drink out of Rainbow Falls. Amazing water!!! Even though the bakery was closed, the trip up was worth it. Especially with Lindsea freaking out because of the "white caps" from the Lady of the Lake.

Apple Blossom was Saturday. We started it off with the Pig Jig early in the morning. We had a big group to walk the 2K. I didn't want to run but I still wanted a shirt, so the 2K was perfect and I think we may just do that every year now. It was fun to just walk with family, even though all of us just wanted to walk over the Grange for the wonderful Pancake Breakfast (the best part about Apple Blossom).

We were worried that we wouldn't get our annual Apple Blossom sunburn because of the rain. But thankfully it cleared up and we did get our sunburns, some more than others. It was fun and reminded me of being in the royalty (and made me miss it like crazy!). The girls looked beautiful and seemed to enjoy it all.

After the parade everyone got to take naps... and I got work! Woo... But I was able to make it back in time to see mostly everyone at our milkshake party Marissa organized (and made all the yummy milkshakes).

When Sunday came around, pretty much everyone was sick. Marissa started realizing how good of a sister I am and used her "sickness" to her advantage. We stayed up late watching movies but I finally fell asleep around 4. I got woken up by her at 8 telling me she had an appointment at the clinic at 8:30. I had a hair appointment at 9:30 that I realized I would miss. I drove her in (old make up on and greasy hair) to her clinic and dropped her off. I went to Radioshack to go have them check out my phone and see why it won't charge, they were closed. I then decided I would just stop at the salon and let them know I won't make it, no one was there. It was too early. So I decided to stop by Starbucks then headed back to the clinic.  I waited for my wonderful sister and finally, her appointment was done. I then took her to Safeway to get her meds and something to eat. It felt like we saw everyone and of  course we would. We both hadn't showered and didn't look our best. We finally made our way home, and yes, Marissa continued to have me do things for her. What a amazing sister I can be.

Now I am just wasting time going to work and hoping I can get a sturdy second job to keep me occupied during the summer. The Winery has been super slow and I have gone home early the last two nights. So, we will see.
Only 17 days until CARRIE UNDERWOOD CONCERT!!!! :)
