When Marissa got back from Oregon a week or so ago she kept saying how much she missed Rock and Ryker. I would tell her to shut up because she actually got to see them, unlike me who was stranded in Provo while everyone else left. She came up with the idea to go to Ryker's blessing (which was yesterday) in Oregon. So I called mom and talked it over with her. She agreed that it would be a nice surprise. It was just going to be us two then Nick decided that he would tag along with us.
We left on Friday after Marissa got off work. About half way there, when I was getting sick and having to pee all the time, Aaron text Nick asking what he was up to that night. We knew he knew. Later on dad called to check up on us and he confessed that he was the one who slipped and accidentally mentioned something to Aaron about us going to Oregon. It was all good, we were still able to see everyone.
We spent most of Saturday helping Aaron and DeA move. By the way, I am so excited they are moving to Renton!
It was fun to hang out with them and DeA's family. I was happy to be able to see my nephews again.
I am really excited for this week even though I have a Physiology test....MOMMY IS COMING!!! :) And I also got a text from Bronte saying her and her family will be down in Provo one day so I am excited to see them also!

Ky's Birthday!!
Saturday was KyLeigh's birthday. Since she went home for the weekend we couldn't really do anything on her birthday. For FHE we took a group to Red Robin so she could get a free burger and fries.
Thursday night our building had a spa night. It was fun to relax and catch up with some of the other girls.

Daylight Savings Favorite Memory
While talking to my mom on the phone earlier today she reminded me of last year's daylight savings. It is my all time favorite memory of daylight savings but some details might be a little off.
It was just us two at home (I think dad was at Spring Training). While I was finishing getting ready to leave for church my mom was just kind of lounging around, playing the organ and just seemed that she didn't want to go to church. I thought she was in a bad mood so I didn't press anything. She always is trying to leave about a half hour early so she doesn't have to walk up late to the organ. I finally got up the courage to ask her if she was ready to go and she just said, "I guess so," in a very unhappy way.
While driving in the car to church we were between our house and the school when the time got brought up in our conversation (sorry I really don't remember how. Maybe I asked if she wanted me to change her bug's clock or she might say how early we were going). I then told her that church was starting in ten minutes. She then slammed on the gas and was freaking out. I couldn't help but bust out laughing. She had no idea that it was daylight savings until I told her. Being my mom she automatically starts stressing, probably hating that I was laughing. I then told her I would call the church and have them find someone else, because Sister Duff had to have remembered. We got to church and my mom almost refused to go up and play because she didn't want everyone to know she forgot to change the clocks. And guess what? Everyone asked her and I about it after sacrament meeting.
My dad left again during daylight savings to go to Spring Training. I am proud of my mom because she reset her clocks last night at 6 (even though she kept forgetting if she did or not.) I still feel like I should have called her to make sure.
Sorry if this wasn't funny to anyone else, it must be a had-to-be-there moment.

My Marissa- and Nick-less Weekend.
I didn't have any class Friday because my only class got cancelled. So pretty much, I had a three day weekend. I slept in until 10 then got ready for a meeting with a TA for my paper. At three I played volleyball with Derek again. We weren't able to play very much because there were more people than there usually is Friday and BYU's men's volleyball "B squad" took over one side of the net. The net was at the mens' height so I had a really hard time hitting over the net. I could walk under the net and not have to duck. It was tall... I did get one hit that the team couldn't block. Yeah... they tried to block on me. It was still fun though and cool to play those guys.
At six thirty I got picked up for my date. His name is Chris and he is in my FHE group. We went with another guy from my FHE and his date. We met up with more people when we got to the show. One of the guys had been there for a couple hours so we got pretty good seats. The show was really funny. They made fun of Avatar and if you hadn't seen it, it wouldn't have been funny. Only Chris and I had seen in out of the people in our group so everyone else was kind of confused. After the show we went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill. I got the Pollo Limone Rustica. It was really good.
After dinner we went back to their apartment to watch A Beautiful Mind. It was pretty good, but a bit different.
This morning I had a three hour review for American Heritage. There were so many people that I was one of about fifteen that had to sit out in the hall and could barely hear. About ten minutes before I was going to leave they come tell us that there are two more rooms they are having reviews in. Yeah, that would have been nice to know earlier so I would have actually gotten something out of the review...
After those pointless hours I headed over to the baseball game. I met up with a girl that was in my summer ward, Brittney, who absolutely loves baseball. The beginning of the game was horrible. UW had two homeruns in the first inning. At one point it was 3-12. Cougs losing... By the end of the 6th inning it was 10-12. It was an awesome comeback. Between the 6th and 7th they covered the field because of snow. At BYU games they always do games to keep us entertained. During the snow delay they had a couple go up and they were playing "a new game." There were two boxes with an item hidden underneath. One was lame and one was pretty sweet. The guy went first and got a t-shirt. The girl then lifts up the other box and the announcer says, "It appears to be an engagement ring." I witnessed my first proposal at BYU. And yes, they are getting married, unless she just didn't want to say no in front of a bunch of strangers. After about twenty minutes waiting for the snow to stop we left.
I then headed to play some volleyball with a couple people. All of us were tired and had no energy so it the rallies were terrible. Still fun, though.
Afterward Derek took me out to eat at Legend's Grill. We shared a pizza and yes.. I ate way too much. Probably more than a girl should on a date. Oh well. It was good and I'm not one to waste food.
Now I am at home about to start writing my Social Competence paper for Human Development while soaking my feet in my sweet "Home Spa Kit."
And I just saw that it was the 13th. I have been 19 for two whole months. I still don't feel like an adult.

My Lonely Weekend
Well... Since pretty much everyone I usually hang out with is leaving for the weekend I am forced into having to figure out one by myself. So far.. it consists of volleyball, writing a paper, studying for an American Heritage test, BYU baseball home opener, a date to Divine Comedy and lots of naps.
Shouldn't be too bad.

Volleyball, Finally!
Last Monday for FHE my family went to one of our ward's counselor's house. They have some sweet games to play and we spent over three hours at his house. They had the Beatles Wii Rockband, one of the basketball arcade games, darts some other pretty cool games. He has a 16 year old daughter that whooped my butt in the basketball game. For dessert he made us brownies and homemade ice cream. It was really good, but not as good as our family's. Here is a picture of the group that went. My "husband" is to my left.
On Friday a guy in my ward, Derek, asked if I wanted to go play volleyball with him. I was done with tests and papers for the week so I decided it would be perfect. It was my first time playing volleyball since November 2008. I was really nervous and had no idea who was going to be there. Sydnee Floyd was in his ward last year and she usually goes to volleyball too so I thought she would go that day. When we got there I only knew Derek and all the rest were Polynesian and Asian guys who were all really good. I did not want to play after I saw them playing because I thought I would totally embarrass myself. After we started and I got my bad serves out of the way I finally got back into the feel of things. There was a guy who hated me in the back row because I would dig all of his hits, that made me feel a lot better. I am still really sore from playing but it was so much fun and I get to play again tonight!!
Later that night I went with a group of people in my ward to the men's Volleyball game. They beat the number one team, Pepperdine. Marissa and I then went to see Old Dogs at the cheap theater.
Saturday was my last game to coach my team. I made cupcakes that Marissa helped me decorate like basketballs. Here are some last pictures of my team.
After my game Marissa and I got another massage. After that massage I realized how bad my first massage therapist was. It felt amazing and she got all my knots out.
Marissa and I then went to watch anther movie, The Lovely Bones. We both read the book and wanted to see the movie. We both thought that they followed the book pretty well. Even though we both knew what was going to happen in the movie it was still scary and intense. I will let Marissa tell what happened after we got out of the theater... Marissa's Blog
After the movie we went to Red Robin with Nick then went to another movie with Kyle, The Princess and the Frog. I just have to say if I were a little kid I would be so scared after that movie. It was cute, but the shadow man and all the shadows were creepy. After the movie we went and bought stuff to make White Lasagna (which my mom makes and I absolutely love) for Sunday dinner. It turned out really good and everyone who tried it loved it.
It was a good weekend and break. This weekend will be interesting because Marissa and Nick are both leaving..

For Marissa
Marissa got upset because I didn't put all my pictures up, that was because they wouldn't download. Here are some more from Saturday night.
This was a statue outside of the Energy Solutions Arena, where we watched the game.
Also, can anyone explain to me how to make my blog cute? I cannot figure out how to get a background and more designs. Thanks!
